This confidentiality charter applies to the website of the AREVA group published by AREVACOM, www.alternatives.areva.com, and not necessarily to the AREVA group’s other websites.

The name AREVA cited in this charter shall be taken to mean AREVA and/or its service providers contributing or having contributed to the creation of this website.

Non-personal information collected automatically
AREVA agrees to maintain the confidential nature of the identity of visitors to its website. AREVA may supply overall statistics concerning visitors to the site, data concerning their profiles and other information to third parties related to the site; in no event shall such statistics include information enabling personal identification.

Purpose of data collection
The purpose of data collection is:
- to enable AREVA to answer your requests and contact you by mail, e-mail or telephone to inform you of updates to the group's news or to its website; and
- to enable the internet user to access interactive areas of AREVA’s www.areva.com website and to the site devoted to the magazine of the AREVA group.
Receiver(s) of the collected information
If you order a publication, request a service or submit content on this website, AREVA may need to contact you to get additional information required to process your request.
However, AREVA shall not supply this information to a third party without your authorization, except in the case of legal requirements or the need to process your request, or for the management of systems for public interaction.
You also grant to AREVA the right to share any information provided with its suppliers and affiliates for the processing mentioned above. In that case, said suppliers and affiliates shall be notified of corrections and/or cancellations of specific personal information.
Duration of conservation of personal information
Personal data and/or information related to the internet user’s navigation on our site shall not be kept beyond the period of time required for related processing purposes, not to exceed five years.

Any member of the AREVA site forum has the right to make changes and may ask the department in charge of access rights at any time that his or her contributions be deleted.
